Acceding to the Governance Protocol

The protocol bound a signatory to three instruments — the SAISA, the DRR and the Platform Terms. Two of the three describe things exact.works does not do, and the joinder itself presumed a platform the company does not operate.

This screen took a signature, and a screen that takes a signature has to describe what is being signed. It told the signatory the DRR would govern their transactions. The DRR — a dispute ruleset under which exact.works appointed and adjudicated — was withdrawn on 4 September 2026, because exact.works does not adjudicate and holds no funds whose disposition a ruling could decide. Adding a caveat would have left a signature attached to an instrument that no longer had a subject.

There is one instrument, and it is between the two parties: the SAISA. exact.works presents the standard form, helps the parties customise the terms that differ, and seals what they execute. Once executed, the parties watch performance in the Relay, on the telemetry their own tooling produces. Nothing needs to be acceded to in order to use any of that.
