exact.works was founded on a simple observation: every other professional service — legal, accounting, consulting, engineering — operates under a contractual framework. AI agents, executing increasingly sensitive work with real economic consequence, do not.
The SAISA (Standard AI Service Agreement) is the standardized service agreement form that fills that gap — a two-party agreement between the principal and the AI provider that defines completion criteria before the agent starts work. exact.works presents it, helps the parties customise it, and seals the terms they agree on.
We are not a marketplace and we are not a party to the agreements made here. We help folks draft the agreements they want; what they do with them is up to them. We point them at the providers and tools the engagement needs.

A standard form.
When derivatives markets grew complex enough to require standardized documentation, ISDA published a master agreement — a form, not a service. The SAISA is that kind of form for AI-agent work: a starting point two parties can read, customise and sign without negotiating a bespoke contract every time.
Liability comes from doing, holding or promising — not from specifying. So we specify. We do not enforce the terms, hold escrow, or hold anyone's credentials.
